revitaRUGS to sponsor Exploring Design Ecology at the ASID Design Matters Forum at REALM, in South Norwalk, Connecticut, on May 20th, 4 to 9 pm

New York, NY -May 14, 2015 –“RevitaRUGS founder, Hamid Zarei, jumped at the chance to sponsor such an important event, highlighting such a major topic,” says Azita Goldman, revitaRUGS Vice President and Elite Green Guru, who practices what she and her firm preach about eco-friendliness by living in a LEED Platinum House.

“A well-planned interior with sustainable elements, non-toxic, low maintenance, long lasting, and well sourced and placed furniture, creates a healthy environment for our only physical refuge in life: our homes,” says Goldman.

Adds Zarei, “Area rugs are an integral part of any interior, and the proper purchase and maintenance of these rugs directly effects indoor air quality.” He cites that area rugs act like an air filter, collecting dust, pollen and bacteria from the air. That is why they need to be properly cleaned on a routine basis.

The event that revitaRUGS is so proud to bring to the American Society of Interior Designers will have as its keynote speaker, award-winning celebrity interior designer, furniture and accessories designer, and global nomad Clodagh. The evening’s agenda will also include an expert panel – which will have Goldman on the dais; educational units; a trade showcase; a book signing by Westport-based interior designer Trudy Dujardin; a “Chair-ity” Auction; and plenty of time for networking during cocktails and dinner.

Keynote Speaker: Clodagh – From her Manhattan studio the Irish-born force of nature of the design world creates everything from makeup packaging to million square foot hotels. She oversees three distinct divisions: Clodagh Signature, the product design group for her many licensees; Clodagh Collection, an on-line showroom highlighting Clodagh and carefully edited
home furnishings and accessories from all over the world. Clodagh’s mission: to make sure

that everywhere you walk or look in her broad range of projects, there is something beautiful to experience. Her bestselling book, “Total Design,” is a retrospective of her work and philosophy.

About revitaRUGS

RevitaRUGS has a lifelong commitment to the care of rugs and the customers who own them.

Over 20 years ago, our founder Hamid Zarei, whose eye for textiles and his firm commitment to
outstanding customer service propelled him to the forefront of Italian interior design, realized that the process of cleaning fine rugs had been largely unchanged and unimproved for centuries. In response, he created a new way to care for fine and delicate rugs, starting with one key ingredient: pure, clean water. Not only were rugs reinvigorated, the process he pioneered protected the air quality and health of the entire home.

The beauty—and effectiveness—of our organic wash process also includes dye-free, perfume-free soaps; and quick, efficient drying.

Today, we’re proud to bring Europe’s most celebrated way to keep rugs beautiful to your neighborhood. To learn more, we invite you to our website
